Great protection for your sensitive electronics

This is the second Pro Watt SW600 I've bought from Revain. The first purchase was from my previous motorhome. When buying a new toy dump truck I wanted the same product as it has enough power to run all my delicate electronics when dry camping. When additional unlimited power is needed (microwave, etc.) . I only run my generator for those short periods of time when necessary. Connecting the device is easy and even easier when you buy the ProWatt switch box. also available from Revain. This is a

Great sine wave inverter!

I've had this inverter for about two weeks and I really like it; and I'm doubly impressed by the price. I've lived off the grid for 15 years and needed a sine wave inverter to run some appliances that wouldn't work on my trace sine modified workhorse. I haven't measured the power output, but it works fine with my sensitive electronics, it's very quiet (it's actually wall mounted in my bedroom) and doesn't draw much power when not in use. Like it so much I'm considering swapping my main inverter

  • Absolutely amazing!

Good price in inverter

I am generally satisfied with this device. I also have a Xantrex Prosine 2.0 so I had high hopes as my Prosine machine was showing great results. However, the PROWatt 600 doesn't quite live up to Xantrex's mostly good reputation. Most disappointing was the pulse power, which didn't quite match the nameplate power of 1200 watts. Also, its internal voltmeter was cut off by 0.2 volts at 30 amps input power (it doesn't work at 0 amps), probably because the internal voltmeter pick-off isn't on the…

Good inverter; bad RFI and a STUPID measurement system

This is a good inverter in the sense that the output power quality is good and it delivers the specified power. However, it also has other disadvantages. I don't know if they are important to you. But here's what I found: First, the digital display reads the input voltage, which is normal and seems to be working fine. However, it alternates between voltage display and power display. This is a 2.1 digit display (two whole numbers and a 1/10 fraction). Mine didn't show anything so I went to the…

Nice tech in the inverter

I've had this 600 watt unit since 2010 and it still works great with a 12vdc powered 620ah solar charger/battery system. During the day, of course, I work simultaneously with the sound system, DVD, TV digital clock, security cameras, fans, PC, PS2 while the sun recharges the batteries. Also I use an AC drill, Dremel, soldering iron from time to time. At night I reduce the load to around 100-140 watts so as not to put too much strain on the batteries, since I don't have a wind turbine yet. But…

Better than expected, 8 years of use

Edit 4/2020: Originally bought in 2012 it still works great and still meets all my needs. EDIT: A few years later: The earth leakage breaker socket failed after a few months of use. I turned something on, heard a popping sound and the GFI reset button didn't reset the device even though I tried and tried. Much later, maybe a year, I tried again and eventually the GFI reset button clicked and the inverter started. I took it to my cabin and after a few months of use I got another GFI ride…
