I've had this inverter for about two weeks and I really like it; and I'm doubly impressed by the price. I've lived off the grid for 15 years and needed a sine wave inverter to run some appliances that wouldn't work on my trace sine modified workhorse. I haven't measured the power output, but it works fine with my sensitive electronics, it's very quiet (it's actually wall mounted in my bedroom) and doesn't draw much power when not in use. I am generally satisfied with this device. I also have a Xantrex Prosine 2.0 so I had high hopes as my Prosine machine was showing great results. This is a good inverter in the sense that the output power quality is good and it delivers the specified power. However, it also has other disadvantages. I don't know if they are important to you. I've had this 600 watt unit since 2010 and it still works great with a 12vdc powered 620ah solar charger/battery system. During the day, of course, I work simultaneously with the sound system, DVD, TV digital clock, security cameras, fans, PC, PS2 while the sun recharges the batteries.
