The tray appeared to be made of durable material, but it didn't sit properly on my handlebars. No matter how I tried to adjust it, the tray tilted down. I didn't want to risk the food and drink slipping into my lap so I returned the item.

When I eat lunch in the car, it effectively prevents me from spilling food on my lap or seat. First, I adjust my car seat to a more comfortable eating position. Then, when used, eating becomes less dangerous and more enjoyable, even when not attached to the steering wheel. It is also useful for the writing surface.

My husband and I are short so I was looking for a tablet that could be used on the steering wheel to avoid constant seat adjustment. They're perfect for eating on the go while running errands when so many places are closed for indoor dining or short trips. I ordered two and my spouse uses them as a lap tray.

Sometimes I like to eat in the car, but I don't like crumbs falling everywhere. This tray seemed like the perfect solution to me, but unfortunately it doesn't fit the steering wheel of my Ford CMax. It doesn't matter if the wheel is upside down or right, it's not good. Once installed this tray doesn't feel secure and I can tell it will fall off after a few seconds. It sucks because the tray itself is beautifully made and I love its overall size.

Works great with my 4 runner but depends on how you position the steering wheel and which side of the tablet you are using. I suggest having the largest opening of your steering wheel at the bottom for the phone slot, but it's more stable to use it on the smaller non-phone part. It leans a little on the wider part of the steering wheel. I have a separate phone mount so this is not a problem for me. Recommended by a friend and very helpful. Light.

I don't know what to say about this product. I think based on the promotional photos I was expecting something a little more structurally stable once installed on the handlebars. It may allow you to put the phone down, but I seriously doubt it will withstand a small amount of food and drink on it. That was the main reason for my interest in this topic. The product does what it is advertised to do. I was hoping that the surface of the tray would have a rubber or silicone coating so it could grab food/items placed on it to keep them from sliding. Even if I don't drive (which I would never do with this tray installed, it would be impossible at first.
