Description of XFasten Anti Scratch Training 3 Inches 30 Yards

The XFasten Pet Cat Scratch Deterrent Tape EMPOWERS you to train your pets to not turn your furniture as a scratching post as the sticky feeling of the adhesive tape repels and eventually makes them develop the habit of not scratching your expensive furniture. The XFasten Anti-Scratch Cat Deterrent Tape is CRYSTAL CLEAR and blends to your furniture’s color, enabling AMERICAN HOMEOWNERS to train their pets without sacrificing the aesthetics of leather furniture and delicate wood surfaces. NON-TOXIC AND 100% PET SAFE. Your pet’s safety should be the top priority while training them. The XFasten Cat Furniture Guard is non-toxic, hypo-allergenic and will not irritate your pets. Heavy-duty adhesive will adhere strongly to most surfaces such as suede, leather, leatherette, stained wood, and tile without degrading or drying out. Important: test out a short strip of the tape to a small corner of the furniture to verify the adhesive's compatibility. LIMITLESS APPLICATIONS. Can also be used as a general double-sided tape for mounting light objects and for woodworking and other DIY projects. Protect your couch from pet scratches with the XFasten Cat Scratch Deterrent Tape. IMPORTANT: Adhesives may react differently to various types of surfaces (especially faux and bonded leather), so it is recommended to test out a short strip to a small and obscure corner of the surface to verify how the furniture will react with the adhesive.

Easy to clean and apply, works well. However.

I really liked this product. I see a lot of feedback on how difficult it is to remove and attach when it is very easy. Just take the length you want, bend a small corner of the sticky side towards you. Pull back, cut to length and apply. Photos provided as is :) 1. The benefit of this is that it does the job, I place it in small spots like where the cables run because I don't have room to protect the cables and my cat stays away . I also use it to close small holes so it doesn't risk getting…

Disappointingly good results on beds and furniture

This tape offers some protection for furniture etc. My kitten avoids some of the places I put it; In other cases, however, it simply uses a workaround of its own design. At certain points, he apparently decided that as long as he kept going, the tape wouldn't particularly irritate him. It is difficult to work with: 1. Prepare a place where you can easily remove the white protective film.2. Getting a proper application when you are not working with a level, straight line.3. Removing tape from…

Stays in place good training tool

To protect our beautiful new sofa I use this tape to prevent our 2 cats from scratching it. I combine this with positive scratch reinforcement, which is important as they really need to redirect the behavior. When cats scratch on the bars and scratching boards that we have around the house, we give them praise and treats. Definitely back to the band. Is it crazy that a roll of double sided tape costs so much? Yes. But after paying less and getting strips that barely stuck to the upholstery…

A great way to scare cats off countertops!

Updated on 6/20. While this is a really great way to teach your cat to stay away from certain surfaces, it is VERY difficult to remove if left in place for an extended period of time. Some of them lay on a filing cabinet and a ceramic window sill for about 6 months. I was able to get it out of the filing cabinet fairly easily, but I had to use a lot of nail polish thinner to get the sticky residue off. On the windowsill, I found that the tape itself had deteriorated (probably due to sunlight)…

AWESOME cat training guide!

We help cats at a local animal shelter here in Iowa. we usually have two or three extra cats in our home at any one time - while they await their forever owners. I've found in the past that using double sided tape as a cat deterrent works great when they come onto counter tops or similar places where I don't need cats. It's also good for attaching to furniture corners that I don't want to scratch. As I mentioned above, I used to just buy some old ordinary double sided tape. I was looking for…
