So I bought this to mount my wireless router to the wall abs even though the router weight was under the specs for this but it consistently kept falling off. I think the reason is that this adhesive breaks down under heat. Not boiling hot but consistent warm surfaces aren’t a friend for this. So if you ar romancing to mount anything warm or which will get warm I will recommend finding an alternative.

I bought this to adhere a cable cover to a concrete block wall. It's works great!There are a couple of things to be aware of when installing it.1) The backing tape is kinda hard to get off, but once you get it started it peels off easy. A small sharp knife or a strong pair of tweezers really helps.2) If you touch the exposed adhesive it will NOT stick wherever you touch it. I was disappointed in the hold of this product. I used it to hold up some lightweight things and it always fell within a day. It was in an area that gets a lot of sun, so maybe the heat was the problem? It's also very hard to cut, sticks to the scissors. On the other hand it's very easy to remove if needed and doesn't damage the surface. I would have returned it but I missed the return window.

Very sticky. Once it’s placed that’s where it stays. If you try to remove it there’s a huge chance that it may take the top coat of whatever it was stuck to off. I use it to keep press on nails in place so it’s perfect. But I do have to be careful to make sure I place it correctly this first time. You don’t get a redo when you’re using them on paper products.

Works great mounting, in my case, flat artwork to the wall. It didn't tear or mar the painted wall surface, but in only small cases (you have to be extremely careful). The gel-like adhesive is very strong, and would not be recommended for delicate wall surfaces (that includes wallpaper) and removing it from paper or paperboard artwork can tear its surface. I wanted to wait a few days before leaving a review. I use this tape to put up 48ft. sting lights around the top of my PORCH because i wanted a seamless look. I did not need a 2nd hand at all. As I got down to move my ladder this tape held right were I left it, no unrolling itself. I have had no drooping or falling! The lights are right were I put them days later!. I've had this mounting tape for less than a week, but continue to find more and more uses for it.Used it to mount some picture frames on the wall (split the tape in half, since 1" thickness was overkill). Used a small strip to keep the edge of the rug stuck to the floor (hardwood). The tape can be removed, but may lift up some of the paint on certain surfaces. Been trying to mount heavy metal art, panels weighing almost between 5 to 10 pounds, on the wall but didn't' want to make a huge hole using anchors or screws. Tip for mounting projector screens: I cut out my projector screen from its mount because I noticed that it was wrinkled/warped and it was driving me crazy whenever I'm watching movies. I originally bought this to attach an LED square sided rope light to the cross members on my Gazebo. I decided to cut 2" pieces and stick them along the metal frame @ 16" to 20" intervals. I was concerned that had I simply laid it continuously along the frame I might not be to remove the lights. I wiped the frame down with a semi-dry rag to remove dust etc, then applied the tape. I ordered the tape to attach my ring doorbell and it works great. It’s a little tricky to separate and very sticky but once you get it attached it sticks. I applied it 8 days ago and it’s still sticking. My new best tape. Just happy it was recommended for the doorbell.

Wow! This tape is magic. I mounted a solar battery on stucco. When removing the battery, I used a flat nose screw driver to prop it off and then just rolled the tape off. Let me tell you, this was SUPER sturdy in high heat, high humidity.

I was asked to mount artwork at school, but NO tape could stay up on the school walls! Heavy duty, double sided, packing, or regular tape all failed. But not THIS tape.The con is that its hard to peel the red paper without nails, and if you cut with scissors, its VERY sticky. But its worth it.

Let's make this clear and say that is super sticky! This is a very good tape, but the user must be very patient. The backing is very tightly connected. In fact, I checked my order to see if I bought the correct product. The user will need a sharp device like a razor to lift a piece of the backing. It took me about fifteen minutes to work a piece large enough to grasp with my fingernails.
