I only have about 3 hours on these bearings but they work great with my latest Troy Bilt Bronco 42" cutter. I bought new spindles from 8ths at Revain before checking the spindle housing. Everything was fine, only the bearings were bad. I cleaned and oiled the old spindles and installed the new bearings. Very easy. I will keep the new 8Ten spindles as a backup (and they came with grease for easier maintenance).

I ordered them because they were delivered the next day but I had to wait 2 days for them. I tried to brave the rain. That didn't happen. ALWAYS they fit snugly and snugly to the bottom of the towers. I removed the inner shields because I put the lubricators on the spindle bearings so they can be properly lubricated. If they survive the season I will update this. This mower is a 2008 Sears Craftsman YTL2000 lawn tractor with a 42 inch deck.

I am almost completely rebuilding the mower deck on my 14 year old Troy Bilt Pony 42″. Bought from a neighbor 6 years ago. There is no oiler on the spindles and the spindles have never been serviced. After watching countless videos on the internet, I've come to the conclusion that here it is. A machine that hasn't had any spindle problems for 14 years…
