I don't work with small solder pins very much, so I didn't have a chance to connect them. After soldering the wires, the connections became too cumbersome to remove the mounting nuts. Eventually I gave up and bought parts with screw terminals.

Two of the four were broken right out of the box. Two viable felts are cheaply made and are likely to fail in a short time. I highly recommend buying higher quality bushings if you have the desire to use them more than once or twice.

Looks good in use. I used them to make 2 of my headphones with detachable cables. 2 worked, one wasn't tested except for installation, and one didn't hold the cable (cable fell out) and therefore didn't play sound through either ear. Good value for money if you need 4 for work buy 2 packs or look elsewhere or you might be disappointed.

I highly recommend the Ximimark audio jack to convert headphones from a fixed cord to a detachable one. I've used Ximimark on my Audio Technica ATH-M50 and Audio Technica ATH-AD900 and have had great results. I've had them for 6 months now and am still very happy with their performance. The nature of these modifications requires modification of the headphones in most cases.
