Happy with my purchase!

I am very happy with this purchase. 10 years ago I was at the peak of my popularity in cinema and last switched to a DSLR. This flash does what a flash does for 5 times the price. Powerful zoom is excellent. It comes with a wide-angle flip filter as well as a diffuser. I mainly photograph animals from shelters and it worked really well. ttl was important to me because it had an auto focus support function since I work in dark places.

  • Easy to read control panel

This one is quite large and gives a .

I haven't had a chance to use it as much as my others, but so far so good. This one is quite large and emits quite a bit of light. It seems to be better balanced in color than other cheap brands. It might take some getting used to after smaller devices, but personally I like more light! Just be careful not to overexpose. TTL works fine BUT it does NOT work with my radio trigger. I've tested wireless triggers on other flashes and only this one doesn't work.

  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Sad device

So far so good.: Blinking

Received earlier than promised. Tried with my Nikon D7100. It worked very well on camera, as a remote triggered by the camera flash in command mode, as a remote triggered by my Nikon SB700 flash, and as a remote triggered by my SU 800 Commander flash. After about 100 shots it's brighter than the SB 700 and much easier to use (despite poor instructions). All the shots captured looked properly exposed when viewed on camera. As long as I like it Time will tell more about durability etc. I wouldโ€ฆ

Great flash for the layman

Bought an entry level Nikon DSLR to shoot my newborn son. I got him about a month after he was born because the built in flash was so sharp I didn't use it but increasing the ISO resulted in noisy shots. I love the frames I get with it. I didn't want to pay double the price for a Nikon flash, so I took a chance and went for the Xit model here. I'm not a photographer, but I like to take decent shots and portraits. Apologies for the lack of experience and misuse of terms. It acts as a commanderโ€ฆ

New but will be updated

Since I always need a flash, I finally decided on one. This one seems affordable but still decent quality. Ordered, package arrived on time, well packaged. When I took out the box with the flash, it smelled very strongly of plastic or something similar. I put the batteries in, turned it on and it blinked once before dying. The side of the flash was very hot and the batteries were so hot they burned the skin. I let the batteries and flash cool down before trying again. I put my finger in theโ€ฆ

Great value and more

I run a small camera shop with my wife. This is a side business and hobby, but something we enjoy and get some extra income from. I recently had a major flash failure while filming an awards ceremony with my Vivitar flash. I needed a new flash, and I needed it fast without spending a few hundred dollars. The event I filmed was for college and I wasn't getting paid so there was no profit to offset the cost of the new equipment. I read the reviews and pulled the trigger on two of them. I loveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

That was then :) that is now :(

The first thing that intrigued me about this item was its appearance. It turned out to be very similar to the Nikon SB 910 in design and size To send to Nikon for repairs I was willing to risk $80 for this flash I used it on a body A D600 It worked very well Good color balance Quick recycling with a set of AA Sanyo Eneloop batteries I try to avoid direct flash when this is possible.By various bounce positions when shooting in TTL mode and manually adjusting the power, I achieved about 400โ€ฆ

Very handy and versatile flash! . a lot for what he does!

I bought this Xit XTDF260N flash for my Nikon d5300 based on other reviews and the price. I think I should give feedback to others and the retailer as this is a very good deal. It is a pity that the description is somewhat missing and the instructions are almost useless. The Xit 260N has: - AF assist light (big red cover on the front) - trigger light sensor (IR?) for slave mode (any other flash can be commander) but not what I call a "wireless" trigger sensor would. - PC sync port (which myโ€ฆ
