🔧 Black XLAB Delta Wing 200 Rear Bottle Mount System for Single Placement Review

I was able to wrap the pipe under the seat and attach it to the fender. Everything is tight and the bottle is safely protected from bumps on the road.

This mount fits the seat perfectly. I use it to store a container of X-Lab tools. Never jumped off the field. Very happy with it.

Worked well but broke when I added an airbag on a long trip, lost all the contents of the bag, bottles, cages and bags. Revain returned the money.

Finally a bottle cage strong enough to keep a bottle from flying, even at speed bumps. It's made out of carbon fiber so I expect it to last a long time.

I never thought I would spend so much on a cage but after two lost bottles (not to mention traveling with less liquid than planned) I decided to give it a try. Holds the bottle insanely tight behind the saddle. It's good looking and certainly lightweight, although the difference in weight is probably negligible given how much water it holds. In any case, buy it for a clutch.

I am very disappointed with the functionality of the Delta 200. It does not work as described. I tried to use it with the xlab mini pod and it fell out during the trip. I've used it twice with the same result. I contacted xlab directly and they said unfortunately there is nothing they can do as I am using the product. How stupid is it when I find out it doesn't work when I use it and then they say they can't help with the product because it's in use so they won't do anything about it.

The XLAB Delta Wing 200 was supposed to be the solution to my problem. I've had a few rides in the last month with no problems, but on my most recent ride the bottle cage detached from the bracket under the seat. I lost the cage and bottle ($100), the mount is still under the seat. Now I've learned that the bottle cage just attaches to the mount under the seat with a threadless pin, the pin has to be threaded. The quality of the cage was great and the water bottle held tight.
