XLAB Inflation Holder 1204 19 Grams Review

What can I say other than it does what I'm supposed to. Inserting it into the fender is a bit tricky, but once it's there, it's good.

Very expensive but makes room for other things in my bag and looks great. The nice thing is that it offers easy access to the CO2 and nozzle.

I like the design but it's a bit hard to know how snug the carbon xwing is without over tightening. Unscrewed the first time, now I try again after tightening.

This is required if you have an xlab super wing. It easily stores the CO2 inflation tool and 2 CO2 cartridges and easily pops onto the bike for a quick change. It seems expensive for what you get but let's be realistic. If you spend $5,000 on a bike, that's another $25.

Screws into fender and holds canister and inflator head. He's doing fine. Freed? No sorry. Some blue Loctite and a toothed washer - bulletproof. Once you have this thing, it should never come loose. It stays on even if you slip out of the corner and crack the bezel. Or your brother-in-law lifts your bike onto a rack while holding carbon dioxide tanks. If you have an Xlab grand piano, you need it.

This is a great idea for storing my pump and CO2 cartridges but after only a few uses they started to come loose. The nut holding it is secure, but it looks like the holder actually turns on the bolt somehow. I can no longer tighten or remove it because the screw only turns when I try. Also, I've found that cartridges can come loose, so be sure to check them before every ride. Update: I managed to tighten it up so I'm giving it one star as it now works as it should. I have a carbon fiber X-Wing that has space for 3 bottle cages. I had to do without the middle seat, but the quiet is worth it. As mentioned in a previous review, this can come loose, but that hasn't happened to me after hundreds of miles of riding (and I did NOT use any glue/sealant).
