🚴 XLAB Stealth Frame Bag: Boost your Aerodynamics with the Stealth Pocket 100 Review

The bag is too flexible which makes the zipper not work properly unless you use two hands. Impossible to zip up with one hand. I have to stop riding to use a non-intended bag. I got a larger version of this bag and it does exactly the same thing. Perhaps adding some stiffening to the sides would help solve the zipper issue.

Size 100 is the same as size 200 with a few differences. Model 100 uses Velcro instead of studs, has an inner pocket instead of a shape enhancer. Without the shape enhancer, the bag becomes more flexible, but zippering becomes more difficult. The 200 version attaches easily due to the screw connection, but the 100 version sometimes requires two hands to operate as there is no screw connection. Runs on Trek Domane SL6. I currently use a saddle bag that works most of the time. But when I just need some extra storage (mainly for protein bars etc) this stealth pocket is perfect. I can fit about 3 bars if I push in a bit and maybe a few gelcaps. It should be noted that my bike's top tube is a bit "flat" so this bag sits nicely on it (it doesn't roll left or right). I have a Kuota K-factor bike frame with internal cable routing, my derailleur cables go into the frame just behind the stem so traditional bags won't work due to the large clearance. I bought the xlab Stealth Pocket 100 for one reason - to carry my thin backpack. This bag is pretty small but I can fit an inner tube, a CO2 cartridge, 2 tire arms, a micro inflator and a mini multi tool. It is very difficult to fit all of this into this small bag. If I put my flat kit under the seat (e.g. with a saddlebag), the xlab 100's stealth pocket can hold a few gels, some cash and maybe a small phone. I don't think it fits an iPhone sized phone.
