Excellent for diagnosing and repairing the A/C system. If you are using 12 ounce refrigerant bottles you will need to remove the schrader valve from the brass fitting adapter.

This is an amazing kit for the DIY enthusiast and sometimes air conditioning professionals too. Everything worked perfectly, even the sensors, and we saved thousands in the cost of a split system repair at one of our rental companies. YES, I am EPA certified and have experience although I do not work full time in the HVAC industry.

I received this pump as a gift. The air conditioning compressor on my 20 year old car failed. A new compressor from a statewide dealership cost nearly $400. Found a replacement for €70. To install it I had to evacuate the system. If I were to take the car to a dealer or auto repair shop, I would be assured that the bill would be at least $600. I did this work myself for less than $300 including this pump and accessories. I also have a pump.

This set of sensors works perfectly for me. I see no reason to give less than five stars. I have used this kit on a domestic heat pump and it has worked well, there were no leaks anywhere including the hose connections. Displays are clear and legible. I don't know the lifespan of the plastic handles but they seem pretty durable. The case is big enough for all my adapters. I like it at the moment! If I find any issues with this sensor set I will update it.

The pump was smaller than expected but worked very well. The speed at which it primes systems is comparable to that of much more expensive pumps. I actually like the smaller pump size. I was skeptical when I first looked at the sensors, but after using them on a few AC units I've had no problems with them. They seem accurate and durable. The leak detector works like any cheaper leak detector. It must be a moderate leak before the leak detector detects it.

I bought a more powerful 1/3 HP pump. It arrived on time and worked great. Although, as other reviews have mentioned, the gauges don't have very detailed vacuum readings, they were more than accurate enough to evacuate and charge the AC. The instruction manuals are useless for the actual work on the car's air conditioning system, but this information can be found in YouTube videos in great detail.
