BUT, if you've used a balancer before, like me, 45 years ago

There were some minor issues with the bladder screws BUT if you have used a bladder balancer before like I did 45 years ago it works great. I recommend the old 4-point scale.

Easily adjusts to center bladder

Steel base and heavier than aluminum base models. Has more stability. I had to grind the hole to evenly tighten the nut, but it only took about 2 minutes. Easy to adjust to center the bubble, works great, good quality.

Needs a little repair to use it but otherwise good.

needs a little repair before use. General overhaul: springs too stiff for car tires, level control, new threads and new screws required, focus on balance. Otherwise a good balancer.

The Harbor Freight Balancer, you won't regret it.

Poor quality. I had to grind a hole in the red base so the threaded shank would fit straight and even into the base. Also the notch on the inside of the balancing head is not accurate at all. It must reach a point for the sharp pin on the shaft to provide a fine balance. It is not.
