It does not work. for tester

Didn't work right out of the box. The positive wire was broken and had no continuity. Found where the problem was by manipulating the wire while watching the gauge. Opened to find the evil soldier at the end.

Looks like it will work fine

Looks like it will work well. I thought the pins were probes but they screw onto the wires. They seem small enough to be used as rear probes. I haven't tried them yet, but I'm sure they will work fine.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good styli suitable for testers

is a great probe set. The wires are strong but flexible. It has a few different tips that you can change depending on what you're testing. There are also clips so it can be held during testing, which is very handy. I've been working on a few different craft counters that I have. If I don't lose them they should last for quite a while.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • little things

In general the assembly is good, the silicone wire is flexible

It seems that the same set is sold under different brands / sellers and has the same problem. The sheathing/plastic around the banana plugs that connect to my Fluke gauges need to be trimmed/reduced to allow for some level of functionality. Otherwise, the force required to connect and disconnect becomes unreasonable and the connection is doubtful. Overall the build looks good and the silicone wire is flexible.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I will say nothing

Worse than the ones that come with the meter.

Looks cheap. Obviously inferior materials. Alligator clips are weak and dull, making them completely useless. Needle gauges can be handy, but I feel like they negate the Cat2 rating of the rest of the hardware. For the price you can get a complete DMM that is almost guaranteed to have higher quality sensors. These are actually silicon wires. So if you have good sensors where the wires have gone bad, this could be good.
