After installation I compared them to the ones that came with my kayak. Looks like they kayaked in from the factory. Really easy to install. When I buy/use such items, I ask myself why multiple items can't be the same. Highly recommended.

I used these grips to replace a broken plastic grip on my Meyers Sportpal canoe. Worked great. I wasn't a fan of lock nuts, however, as they prevented me from tightening them with the included hardware. I ended up using several different nuts I had in my drawer. I needed to replace the handles on my Impex kayaks. Since the Impex is no longer in service I have not been able to locate the source of the exact handles on the boat. These handles are very similar and match the brackets on the boat. Time will tell how durable they are, but for now I'm glad I was able to find a similar replacement.

The handle on my holdall broke. I needed a replacement and couldn't find one so I bought these and they worked pretty well. I was concerned about the hollow square tube they would attach to, so I carefully inserted a piece of wood into each tube to make sure the end was secure. Attached one of these and it works great. Robust, comfortable and durable.

I bought these to replace a broken suitcase handle. I was concerned because these handles are for lifting kayaks. They were not designed for use with luggage being transported overseas and may have been dragged and thrown by movers. However, they survived the rides through the airport and are still in use. The purchase was definitely worth it.

I ordered these to replace a missing handle on my kayak. Judging by the picture they would be perfect for my kayak. The problem is that the pens that appeared in my house are not these. T-handles appeared with a rope loop in the middle. They don't fit my kayak so I'm sending them back. Very disappointed, I have to come up with something else now.

These grips add extra grip to the stern of my Perception Carolina and Conduit kayaks. I will thread their lines through the unused rudder shaft holes drilled in the stern of each boat. They are actually slightly larger, heavier and hand filled than the original handles on these boats so I'm sure they will perform at least as well, if not better. A kayak handle that is easy and secure to hold is important if you do get wet, which they most often do. This is up to the task.
