A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

It's amazing how Yamaha managed to make such a cheap and good sounding speaker system. I have several pairs of different two-way bookshelf speakers with a phase inverter, and in comparison with them, this three-way speaker sounds somehow wider, yielding a little on the bottoms, or maybe, on the contrary, its bass is closer to a natural sound. In general, this acoustics is from a series of cheap and cheerful.

Pros
  • Probably the best acoustics in terms of price - sound quality. Good sensitivity, three bands, 8 ohms, good bass for a closed box, blues and similar music. styles . Not a bad design, although I prefer the black color of the speakers, the size of the case also suits.
Cons
  • The mids are a bit dominant and the treble is dull, but this can easily be fixed by adding a 3 ohm resistor to the midrange and replacing the treble capacitor with a 2.2uF film capacitor. After that, the sound became more to my taste. The power of this acoustics is clearly overstated according to the passport, more than 30 watts should not be offered to it.

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

Listening experience - about six months. Source - Yamaha CD-N301, Yamaha A-S301 amplifier. Brief conclusions: 1) The uneven frequency response is noticeable, the speakers accentuate the midrange, especially their upper part. Plus or minus - depends on the specific listener and, in fact, the music. Vocals, saxophone, acoustic guitar, electronics - delight! Loud, bright, very detailed. But when listening to some hard rock and especially metal compositions, an overabundance of medium-high and a…

Pros
  • Bright, clear and detailed sound (someone may seem sharp in places, I personally like it). With the correct arrangement, a large-scale "panoramic" stereo effect is heard. Convenient connection (you can use the "banana" connector). Nice design, they look very nice on black racks and without protective nets - it's not a shame to show guests.
Cons
  • On some compositions, an overabundance of medium and high frequencies is felt. Reproduction of low frequencies is ambiguous (see below).

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I have been listening to these speakers for more than three years in conjunction with the Marantz PM 65 amp and I am very pleased with the sound, but . my genres are jazz, blues, instrumental and the speakers play this music for five . At first there were thoughts of tweaking them a little, but then they passed something that I listen to, they already play great, but metal, trash and even good old hard is not their path, and this can hardly be fixed with tweaks . You shouldn’t load them heavily

Pros
  • Very good sound for little money.
Cons
  • In such a budget, looking for shortcomings is simply stupid ! Unless they are very sensitive to the location and orientation relative to the listener .

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Excellent acoustics for my money, my kit cost me 18,000collected 3 months, I used car Mystery cables, and optics 2 cables of 500each, this is for connecting 2 devices, if you want to save on the amplifier either Pioneer109 Or 209 from hands or from speakers mikrolab pro3 amp buy in the internet from hands 1-2can be new then in 8500-10000 keep within the computer a discrete audio card is required at least Xonar DG -1000 Rub

Pros
  • The whole range sounds gorgeous, accurate and truthful, the basses are real, where it should be soft, where it is necessary to cut and abrupt, the voices sound clear without falsehood, the high ones ring maybe a little more than necessary, but the e-l-zer decides everything the speakers are quite light, but this is a deceptive lightness, I don’t know how but Yama managed to make a masterpiece out of these lightweights that gives out a powerful clear sound - rap, metal, jazz, in the end chanson - everything sounds great karaoke honestly conveys all the purity and errors of the voice if you don’t have enough bass and there is plenty of it here Yama YST- SW012 +3200 rub. everything will be completely decided by my friend, having heard them after 2 months, he sold his Warfdaile kit and took these fronts for himself. My kit is Yamaha Rx-V367 receiver, Yamaha Ns6490 fronts + sub Yamaha SW012 source computer with ASUS XONAR D1 + good microphones if you want to save money on the amplifier then or technics 290 or from speakers mikrolab pro3 amp you can buy in the internet 1-2you can buy a new one
Cons
  • For 210 USD, sit 3-4 times in a tavern - THEY SIMPLY ARE NOT

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I fully agree with the positive comments of the previous speakers. The sound, in a word - CUPPING! They play in conjunction with the FX AUDIO D802C amplifier. Cable 4 mm2 (Schultz). If MP3 is 320, and flac is ideal of course. After listening to numerous ready-made centers, this is heaven and earth. Although, probably an incorrect comparison.) Some here are shouting that there is no bass. Friends, yes it is here up to the throat, if not behind the eyes. Maybe the speaker cable 4ka does its job.

Pros
  • Two solid benefits!
Cons
  • Didn't reveal.

I'm very happy with the product, it's very satisfying.

I took these speakers to Sherwood RX-4109. I am 120% satisfied with the purchase =) First, powerful 8 ohm speakers. Build quality is top notch. Sound quality. As I wrote above - do not expect a lot of bass, but! after listening to them for several days, I came to the conclusion that the bass is not so important there - the sound (even from mp3) in my ear (not the most musical, I must admit) - it turns out a) very "lively" and b) a hundred times better than that the same home theater 5.1…

Pros
  • Three stripes. Smooth bass, good mids, clear highs.
Cons
  • If you find fault, then the bass would be a little more .

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Very good frequency characteristics - any sounds are heard. But only with good recording quality - be it audio or video (for example, through YouTube). The same applies to the shortcomings of the recording - if the recording is made in lousy quality, all the negative sides will be heard more clearly than on a simple technique. Pleasant soft bass, all mids and highs are perfectly audible. A subwoofer is not needed. Lack of bass can only be present if the recording was originally made with…

Pros
  • Excellent sound throughout the entire frequency range.
Cons
  • I glued the flannel footpegs, although without them there were no unwanted vibrations.

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Diko was surprised when he took it apart. A woofer without a filter at all, a 1st order filter on the midrange - HPF (!) That is, the HF component is also supplied to it, and a 1st order filter on the HF. According to this indicator, they are similar to the speakers from the Chinese music center. Cutoff frequencies are about 5 and 13 kg. Filters will change to something normal. As for the sound, there isn't much to compare it to. They play in tandem with the Denon PMA-510AE.

Pros
  • Looks like good speakers
Cons
  • 2 1st order filters!

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good and high-quality product, but there are disadvantages.

Musical acoustics with good mids without a subwoofer hole, which is rare nowadays, so the "retro" model Amplifier-receiver I use JVC models, budget 2 * 25 watts on mofset field workers. Two channels left, right - go through a high-pass filter with a cutoff of 150 hertz to the speakers. And the remaining 2 channels are connected by a bridge to a 12-inch subwoofer, through a low-pass filter. Everything sounds very good, in fact I have a 2.1 triphonic. The main thing is the coordination. DR 150 Hz

Pros
  • Very good-)
Cons
  • Not found

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Definitely not advise to buy, the product is disappointing.

The columns are closed. There are no bottoms. And not just no, they are also not dynamic. The remaining frequencies are no more than 3. Took on shares for a ridiculous amount. Returned after five days. Or my ear is already protesting against such a class, or what else I don’t know. In any case, there was an idea to make a fazik, but then I thought about it and decided that the game was not worth the candle. It's better to take something from the entry-level JBL. I don't know what the guys at…

Pros
  • Design.
Cons
  • An extremely disgusting sound.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the product suited me, the price is generally perfect.

The speakers are quite musical. When installed, you will understand how voluminous the sound is, hear the nuances of music and voice. The room (from 12 to 20 sq. meters) is filled with excellent sound with up to 90% surround sound coverage. More than enough power. Don't forget that these are bookshelf speakers, however, the speakers give out an honest 45 Hz on the bottoms. Good acoustics for your money!

Pros
  • Three-lane. closed type. Classic. They are called Yamaha NS-6490 Retro.
Cons
  • With the NAD C355BEE amplifier, there is a little lack of "juicy" bass at low volume (7-8 hours).

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

All the moans that they have absolutely no bass appear after connecting to weak amps. So don't be stupid, try with different ones, or immediately provide a supply of power. Who does not believe - look at the impedance measurements on stereo. Ru. Before that, I listened to the Microlab Pro-2 with the Muse M50 amplifier on the TPA3123, and gradually I wanted more. I bought these speakers - there is no bass as a class, all the music is shallow and dull. Only Bob Marley sounded decent at a low…

Pros
  • I was able to get a balanced and detailed sound. They are definitely better than my previous speakers from Microlab Pro-2 (from the same amp). You can really listen to them at a low volume, and the details almost do not disappear, I could not do this before. A cheap way to try "Closed Box" acoustic design, as well as other experiments.
Cons
  • The left and right columns are the same, that is, the distance from the left and right tweeters to the head is different. They require an amplifier with a power reserve, even at low volume, otherwise there is no bass. Yes, and then he is unpretentious. The rest for this money - little things in life.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

To be honest, I may not be completely objective. The speakers cost from 6 to 8 thousand, it is difficult for me to judge whether they correspond to their cost. But I expected more. I probably would not have bought it if I could test it in advance. I was ready to pay more for the speakers, but according to reviews, ns-777, ns-555 also have drawbacks, and I was definitely not ready to pay more than 20-30. Now I'm thinking about the next pair of speakers. Probably cheap - never perfect.

Pros
  • Inexpensive. Decent sound for the price.
Cons
  • They sound very average. I measured it with a multimeter - the review from amazon was confirmed, exactly 6 amperes. Medium and high frequencies sound "loud", distinct. But I have two Pioneer speakers of 50 watts each, half the size (4.5 kg each, versus 6 kg for Yamaha), two-way with a phase inverter. They were attached to a class D micro system. Those sound much better on the bottoms. Bass from Yamaha somehow does not sound at all. In general, the overall sound quality is from three to four.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It has some flaws but the product is usable.

I bought it for a ridiculous price of 7 thousand, got on the action. Healthy such shelves with side walls of 10 mm. You knock - it's loud. Covered with a cheap black film, the plastic framing of the dins against the background of "piano lacquer" looks even cheaper. Kind of like a toy. It actually plays like a toy. A bunch of audible distortions, humps in the middle, poking, the lack of at least some intelligible detail. The bass is very hard. For seven thousand norms. For 9 you already need to…

Pros
  • - Yamaha type - Unpretentious, but three-strip - High chuyka - Price (details in the comments)
Cons
  • - audible distortion - Ticking and pressing on the ears middle - Very flimsy and thin-walled body, as a result - dull and smeared bass for a closed box - Extremely cheap finishing materials, without a dressed neck look like a toy - Inconvenient connection port - You can’t put it on the table - overall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

I advise you to immediately buy K-series capacitors for 1.5 microfarads and 4.7 microfarads for 160 volt film capacitors and immediately replace them, the purity of the sound immediately changes both the middle and high ones, and do not change anything else, damping the acoustics will only get worse. the third band in the form of a mid-range simply pulls out everything, both vocals and violins and wind instruments, again I repeat because of the high sensitivity it requires good quality tracks…

Pros
  • The design of paper diffusers is very light transparent sound, sensitivity 93 db even a lot ! the volume is amazing even from a 30 watt microsystem, the design of the closed case will have a very good effect on the midbass, they are clear and sharp here, I was surprised that for the first time in many years I didn’t have to adjust the equalizer because you start to turn it worse, a perfectly balanced sound, slightly embellished but without a bright color, about that says that almost any direction of music plays great, in general, I'm wildly delighted!
Cons
  • electrolytic capacitors, because of the high sensitivity it is sometimes disgusting to listen to tracks with high mp3 compression, artifacts are all heard, but in 320kbps quality everything is on the level

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

- It is STRONGLY not recommended to take these speakers without a subwoofer (they are not able to produce a dense and surround sound). Initially I bought them with a Pioneer VSX-423 receiver and was EXTREMELY disappointed (music lovers and geeks will understand) . Although the sound was detailed (top and middle), it sounded "clamped", there was no volume and bass at all (can be compared with mono radio tuner reception against stereo). After I decided to buy a Yamaha YST-SW216 sub. After moving

Pros
  • -Mid and highs sound great - Solid appearance - Relatively light for its size - Lack of a phase inverter (can be placed close to the wall) -Excellent result for your money (yamaha keeps the price tag for now)
Cons
  • - Lack of "legs" - Lightweight design (I was expecting big and heavy speakers . turned out to be only large)

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best price for this product, will buy more!

They were bought at a discount for 7990. I can only compare with the former Microlab Solo (for 5at one time) - heaven and earth! Work with Onkyo TX-NR535 receiver. Great detailed sound. Enough bass, especially with the appropriate settings of the receiver. The bass is soft, even, not booming, as is often the case in versions with a phase inverter. The highs and mids are also great. The stereo panorama began to be felt. The music began to hear the instruments that perform it, and not the…

Pros
  • -Excellent sound quality! -Three-bands in a closed case are a rarity now. -Lungs.
Cons
  • -Slightly large compared to classmates. But this is more of a nitpick, as this is inevitable with three speakers and a closed case.

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I definitely do not advise buying, the product disappointed.

I bought it after reading the reviews and returned it to the store an hour later! 3-way speakers with a 20cm woofer cannot weigh 3kg ! (cheap light speakers with small magnets + thin, flimsy and echoing walls. I did not expect this from Yamaha, the most unfortunate model. I do not advise taking it, the Yamaha NS-BP182 model completely overplays them, although they are 2 times smaller in size.

Pros
  • No.
Cons
  • The sound is like out of the box, the walls are thin and the speakers are very light, not phasic, side walls without varnishing (only in the front and closed with a grille) The mid frequencies are protruded, there are simply no low ones (only if you unscrew the amp along the bottoms) The speakers themselves are huge, you can’t put them on a shelf, they are low on the floor.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

They have been living in the rear for many years. But only because of the floor-standing speakers that already existed before them, 100 liters each with FI. For their money they have no competitors. Whoever writes about bad basses or medium or high ones is talking nonsense. Either he ruined his hearing with computer boomboxes, or he got used to listening to a sound that was squeezed a million times. Whoever does not have a bass, he apparently clings to the Deshman res. Treble and midrange…

Pros
  • Great clear sound. Very highly detailed. They look great.
Cons
  • Could keep the power and more.

Whether you like the sound of these speakers or not, but in any case, the speakers SOUND! This is not firewood, as some have said here. I'm not spoiled for sound. Yes, I hardly listened to "audiophile" speakers, I can't compare, but I listened to S-30 Radio Engineering, vintage Vega and the like, computer active acoustics, as well as professional concert acoustics, stage monitors, etc. Yamaha sounds several orders of magnitude better than "Soviet" and computer speakers. Listening to Yama with…

Pros
  • Well, here I became the owner of this controversial acoustics. In general, I liked the product! I got everything I wanted from him. And power, and sound quality, and good looks. I especially note the low price for such acoustics. Low price, very decent sound for this price. 3-way, as large as possible for shelf speakers (more can hardly be done). The price / quality ratio is at a very high level. What else is needed? I do not suffer from audiophilism, rather I am a music lover. It's more important to me not "how" plays, but "what" plays. Therefore, the sound of these speakers came to my taste. Yes, somewhere it needs to be “finished” with a tone control or an equalizer, somewhere the high frequencies stick out a little (although I rather like it). All this is easily solved by software or hardware methods.
Cons
  • Possibly imperfect sound. A bit big to put on a shelf. In general, I have not yet found any global shortcomings, there is nothing to complain about. Wires would still be included :)))))
