Through trial and error, I found that this product's reliability is outstanding. The overall build quality of the Yamaha Outboard impeller housing was impressive and exceeded my expectations. The installation process was simple, which saved me time and money on labor costs. However, the price tag on this product is a bit higher compared to other brands. Overall, a great choice for automotive engine cooling and climate control.

The pump body pressure tube, which needs a gasket and a gasket retainer inside, is not manufactured properly. The holes for the seal retaining clips are too low and misaligned. After installing most of the other parts before I got to this one. I couldn't return the whole set. So I cleaned and reused my old one.

Expected higher quality reproduction - didn't even know it was an OEM part - but not a quality 3rd party. Requires REFINE to install stock exhaust pipe bracket. Had trouble installing o-rings properly - have done this many times and never encountered these problems with aftermarket water pump housings. adhesion problems arose. Should have returned.
