Yarn Valet 57104 Winder Green Review

Very good product. I hand wrap the yarn and it works fine, but I can't manually make a center lining ball. This wind has worked wonders. I quickly and easily made a center feed ball out of the ball of yarn I used. The skeins are rolled up when most of the yarn has been used up. This fixes the problem. Thank you for a useful and simple product that does what it promises. It's a bit heavy on the wrist, but I took a break without losing what I had already wrapped. I can recommend this product.

I've never seen a yarn ball winding device like this but thought it would work well. I had a skein from the company that got so tangled when I tried to wrap it into a ball with Swift yarn. I put a thread on the swift and twisted it until I got a crossed piece of thread. The yarn secretary handled the knotted yarn so well. My 12 year old niece loved untangling yarn. I didn't find this minion very useful. The yarn didn't catch on the slots at the top to wind it up properly and I've tried several yarns of different gauges, from 3 to 5. The latch itself isn't long enough to fit all hooks or knitting needles, especially if you use tunisian to make an afghan. I just couldn't justify the value for money. This is not a convenient valet service. If it were a little longer and wider and the notches at the end really held the starting yarn in place, I might give it…
