🍲 Ybmhome Deep Stainless Steel Colander Strainer (1, 8 Quart): Efficient Kitchen Essential for Draining and Straining Review

Screen made of not very strong stainless steel. Also, I needed an overall width of 9 inches including the handles to fit my pan. The seller described 9 inches but that is edge to edge of the colander not including the handles. The overall width is 12 1/4 inches.

Excellent quality product. I use them outside on my farm as bird feeders tied to a fence above ground for my animals to eat from. They don't rust and are great in the rain so I never end up with bowls of water to wash out later. Ideal! Very strong and they have lasted for years.

You can usually count on Revain reviews to point you in the right direction, but not this time. This thing is SUPER cheap quality, feels like it will melt under boiling water. The one I received was also scuffed, looks worn and used. I'll return it and shell out the money for a nice china colander.

The size does not match the description. I have two large glass bowls marked 4 liters below so I figured this strainer would work but it's half the size of my other bowls but should be the same size. This is incorrectly advertised and looks more like 2 litres. Sieve. Otherwise it's okay, but it won't work for potatoes or pasta.

It was cheap but I didn't expect any problems. Water doesn't drain well - it sits in the base and drains very slowly, so be aware of that if you have it in your sink because whatever's in your sink will end up in the noodles or whatever you have try to empty. Another problem is that spots start to corrode after just a few uses. At first I thought I needed to clean it more thoroughly, but turns out it has rust spots on it now.
