I am a professional football coach and use sklz brand equipment. I needed an additional agility ladder and figured I could do without the expense of a Sklz ladder. It was almost embarrassing to use with the girls, the plastic parts of the stairs never stay straight, they move back and forth everywhere. I think this will work well for my 5 year old and that's about it. There's also no way to stick it into the ground, so it's practically useless when you're not on the lawn.

We tried to save some money for our team by buying this over a branded item. What mistake. They are made out of VERY brittle plastic and two of the bars broke in half when the player first stepped on them. We have a big brand name agility ladder and it hasn't had a problem for 6 years! Also, there are no loops in the nylon webbing to attach the ladder with pegs. So you'll have to get creative if you want them to stay in place. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product.

I've been trying to duplicate elements I'm using in PE as my sessions are running out. I like this particular agility ladder because it's longer than the one I use. But the "steps" don't lie flat on the ground like the ladder I now use in sports. Ordered two of these for high school soccer practice. So if you stub your foot on one of them, a single step will slide off in the same spot that the entire staircase moves. It also means that you spend several minutes aligning and aligning each box every time you lay them out. They don't feel 100% terrible and maybe the bars will become more durable on the straps over time. But for now I will only use them as backups and the old ones as main files.

Black nylon straps that go over the bars are too thin. Every time you set up the rope ladder or move it during training, you have to readjust the distance between the steps. I don't know if this was a recent design change but I really can't believe this product has such good reviews when it's a hassle to work with. It is better to remove the nylon straps from the steps and lay them on the floor separately. I plan to return my purchase.
