Looks great but there is no stone in this product.

Made of plastic with a thin layer of stainless steel over the plastic. I've found that glue is even more difficult to work with than grout, I've been working with tiles for many years. This particular style has twisted ends, increasing the difficulty. No one can fit a 12" x 12" tile or whatever perfectly and with this adhesive there is no adjustment, if you don't get it right you can't remove it without ruining it. Like I said I like the look so I'll continue; but on some I used chalk as glue.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Perfect for my project!

Add an apron to transform your motorhome. I liked how I could divide the tiles into strips to easily accommodate small areas and slightly irregular corners. I also found 2 strips to be perfect for simultaneous placement due to the strength of the adhesive backing. No kidding - the adhesive is great and I never have to worry about it coming loose like other types of peel and stick tile. I used a utility knife to make cuts for slicing and carefully snapped off the end. And it was easy to shave…

Lots of work for building materials

I love my backsplash in my kitchen BUT your walls aren't quite straight you will fight the pieces are like a puzzle they can't be crooked. Once you hang it on the wall, there's no going back! As soon as you peel it off the wall, all the glue will mix and stick to the wall. I mean it felt like the real deal. I actually cut my eyebrow in the process (my own fault). But if your walls aren't perfectly flat then I end up doing tile by tile so I can build them myself instead of piece by piece. That…

Inexpensive, fast, big look update

I hung this on my laminate splashback and the whole kitchen looks so much better. I had some issues when it came to the areas that needed to be cut out. This has to be done fairly accurately and the tiles can be a bit cut resistant. Also make sure they line up when you place them on the walls. I think this was the most important thing I could do on a budget to update my kitchen and I'm very happy with it. I was done in half a day. The glue is quite sticky, I had glued part of the sheet to…

Excellent adhesion and quality!

That's exactly what I was looking for everywhere. This apron is exactly what I was looking for! A bit pricey but worth it to me. I ordered black and they didn't send me black but dark charcoal with some dark gray variations. Which, by the way, was exactly what I wanted. (see photos) Installed as a splash guard and floor in the galley of a teardrop RV. I want to describe what material they are made of. not "tiles", of course. Are they some kind of very dense, thick fibers? I used heavy HART…

Good Looking Repeat Pattern

I see another reviewer also cut these tiles from full height to multiple rows and I would 100% assume the pattern is of smaller tiles if you use them use. is the same for everyone and can easily be perceived as repetitive. The division into shorter sections allowed much greater flexibility in template randomization. I used a 6 height pattern (each tile is 13 high, a little under half) to cover about 10 linear feet and the result was surprisingly good haha. The adhesive backing will stick out…
