This watercolor sketchbook is awesome! I have worked in both gouache and watercolor and the pages hold up well with minimal creases. Thick paper and smooth texture are great for drawing with graphite, pastel, ink, alcohol markers and markers, watercolor and gouache. These 140lb watercolor coloring books aren't quite what I expected. I recently paid more money for a smaller and more expensive hardback that claims to be hot-pressed watercolor paper. These 30 page books are much better. In fact, each of the two spiral-bound hardcover books contains 30 pages of very smooth watercolor paper.
