Good Mirrors - Towing Mirrors

Brackets have been marked for wrong sides and in wrong boxes otherwise these mirrors are amazing when fully tightened, readings are poor see YouTube for instructions when in normal Wobble position a bit It's a 4 star hotel which I think could do with a bit of improvement

Pros
  • Excellent Construction
Cons
  • There are issues

Excellent customer service

Easy to apply and looks great! This company stands behind their product and has great customer service. I had a problem with the driver's side mirror 6-8 months after installation. I emailed them and after a few pictures and additional emails they sent me a whole new driver side mirror replacement kit.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Works as intended on tow mirrors

Ease of installation looks a bit odd to me on an early 90's Chevy but they work great if you want functionality They are good for aftermarket mirrors if the looks are too To suit your style, look elsewhere ( Yes they do wiggle a bit while driving even at speeds over 85, when pulled out they can stack on top of you 75 and at lower speeds it's ok)

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Has quirks

Not bad for the price in the towing and winching category

Needed for towing a wide RV. They are definitely worth their price. The large passenger side mirror vibrates a little, but not enough to prevent the driver from checking the next lane. The blind spot mirrors and the large mirror on the driver's side do not vibrate. East to install, and fits very well. Required to tow wide trailers.

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Some cons

Very nice: exterior accessories

They came in a nice box, well packaged and protected for transport. They are simply screwed in with the supplied hardware. They don't sag or rise at a weird angle like so many others. Fit well, haven't had any problems with shifters or glass falling out so far, have been using them for several months. Ideal width for a 3500 twin wagon, even when not extended

  • tow bar accessories
Cons

Great camper mirrors for the price!

I love the split mirror configuration that allows for two different focus points. I also love the 4 inch extension when towing my 8 foot camping trailer. 4 star rating for mirror stability as the extra weight and distance from the mount (behind the stock mirrors) results in very slight wobble at normal speeds. It's not so bad that I can't read the license plate of the car behind me because I can. They just aren't as durable as the small OEM chrome mirrors. Am I expecting too much? Maybe. I'mโ€ฆ

You look good on my truck.

I recently bought a 1996 GMC 2500 4x4 with an Alaskan camper. Check out the mirror photo comparison. The first is the original tripod-mounted fixed mirror, which is rigid and difficult to adjust. The second two are new mirrors with a pivoting adjustment bracket that allows you to simply fold them up and extend them even further if needed. They also have a wide-angle spot mirror on the bottom. They are rock solid and allow me to see clearly with the RV and my boat in tow. The point mirrorโ€ฆ

Fits well and the truck looks better!

I've read the reviews on these mirrors and was a little concerned at the complaints about the vibrations being so severe that some found it difficult to see anything in the mirrors. Well I took a chance and bought them and I'm glad I did. They fit my truck perfectly, although both had some vibration when driving at high speed on the freeway. I went back to the shop, tightened the nuts a little and, Ta-Da! no more vibration in both mirrors. So if you're buying these mirrors, I suggest you do aโ€ฆ
