Best for $$. This handlebar extension will not disappoint you.

After reading other reviews of many other bike handlebar extensions, I see that the clamps that attach the handlebar extension to the handlebars are loose or weak. Each of these extensions uses two screws and a clip that attaches to the handlebar. (I didn't get rubber strips to protect the handlebars. I cut two small pieces of rubber from old inner tubes.) Most need it for more handlebar clearance

You know I got this extension for my bike because my handlebars are pretty tight considering it's an electric bike which has a LCD screen occupies. lots of space then you have a call etc so thought it would be a good idea. They were very easy to install on my bike handlebars, the only thing you have to be very careful with because they scratch easily, so when installing I kind of twisted the handlebars to get it perfectly centered and it scratched what I had to weaken even more. Well designed and built

It's well designed and made - not cheap. This gives a lot of clearance between my large hands on the handlebars and the extra bar. I ordered the long tube version and then changed the accessories so I only needed the 4 inch extension arm. Instead of cutting through that nice tube or sacrificing an aluminum mountain bike handlebar (same 7/8" or .875" OD), I cut a piece of 3/4" ID Pex-A tubing. I rubbed it down to reduce the likelihood of accessories (Cygolite and Mirrycle Incredibell headlights)
