1. I returned them. Therefore, I cannot rate or set the commitment. Wanted to strip my truck and I hate chrome. It looked beautiful, or as they say "good from afar, far from good". The quality was really lacking like they took the red letters and painted the surface black causing the black paint to run down the sides. Regarding the installation, a paper template (2 in total) is provided, so you need to place individual letters. Desire may result in a slight shift. returned

So far so good. You look great! I've had them for about a week and they've held up well when hand washed. I had to peel off one of the letters immediately after applying and the tape stuck to my truck but the letter came off easily so hopefully they will last a long time. I recommend getting a 3M adhesive removal wheel or something similar to remove old badges. (I bought an ABN Rubber Eraser from Amazon for $11 and it worked great)

The most difficult part of this project was removing the original chrome letters, which took some time. Placing new Black Letters wasn't difficult at all. The letters have been sitting on my truck for about 3 months and are holding up rain and hot weather (35+ degrees) fairly well. I feel like I got my money's worth. The photos I have included show the original chrome letters and then the new black letters. Happy customer is here.

So far I've given 5 stars for the quality and ease of assembly. Before removing the old letters, measure the distance from the bottom of the door and the edge of the door near the wheel to the letters. There are many ways to remove old paint, the easiest for me was 3M Adhesive Remover with 3M Wheel. After removing paint, clean with alcohol, mineral spirits or wax remover. Dry the surface, mark the floor in several places and at the edge. DO NOT ALIGN, you want to follow the run of the door…

This is amazing! They're only SLIGHTLY larger than the OEM letters, but not big enough to even be noticed. Black gloss looks great, glue is black too. Before I removed the old letters, I attached a strip of blue painter's tape about 1/8 inch below them, and then, using a fine point, I drew small arrows where the sides of each letter served as a reference. I then used a 12 inch piece of fishing line with a couple of small bolts attached to the ends to use as handles. I used the line to "saw off"
