🎾 Yonex Super Grap Overgrip (Pack of 3) Review

Tried 5 different grips in the last year. Wilson, Gamma, Head, Volkl and Yonex. This Yonex capture wasn't at the top of the list. I love Yonex racquets and almost bought an Ezone this year (but was beaten 100 KO by the Babolat Pure Strike). Anyway, after a few games, that grip didn't seem quite right to me. It seemed less sticky than I like, or came off quickly (can't remember which). And it wasn't as comfortable for me as Gamma or Wilson, although in my opinion it was better than the head.

I am disabled and use a walking stick. I bought a special walking stick for mobility, but the oddly shaped plastic handle made it difficult to use. I decided to try diapering. This product has adapted very well to all the odd angles and size changes when I put it on. It took a few practice runs to figure out where I would start and stop. While I am very happy to say that my reed is comfortable and sticky enough not to require a "death grip", grip slippage due to sweating has not been an issue…

Recently, Yonex has done a great job of building its brand in the US market with quality products. I've stuck with Wilson Pro OverGrip for their well-done stickiness. But I got to know this Yonex rubber - and decided to switch forever. The quality is significantly better, the sticky feel is the same if not better, and more importantly, it lasts a lot longer than Wilson's. For those who love the feel of the Wilson Pro OverGrip, this product is a MUST TRY! love it forever!

In the hot and humid Atlanta summer weather this grip is my favorite for my tennis racquet as I sweat a lot. I almost didn't buy this grip as several reviews mentioned how "sticky" it is because I recently tried the Tourna Mega Tac grip and it was too sticky for me. Summary: -My personal choice of rubber; Far better than anything I've tried from Wilson or the ever popular Tournagrip. This grip has a great, comfortable texture without being sticky. And best of all, it retains that texture and grip for a very, very long time without flaking, becoming slippery, or sticking to your grip (check out Tournagrip).
