Does the job and is value for money

Does the job and is value for money but the connections made are not perfect. Male and female profiles don't quite match. We also bought two of these because we dropped one and it broke. The other one that didn't break had one of the carbide edges glued on incorrectly, so we had to disassemble the drill and use part of the other broken drill to make a solid, correct drill.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • No instructions

Great if you don't plan on making a ton of frames and panels.

This works very well for the money. It takes a while to set up but as I will only be using it a few times a cheap 1 piece racket makes more sense than buying a more expensive set that will take up a lot of space later on. He had a little arson on the cuts, but there were no tears, not even at the ends. Even when gluing, the parts fit together perfectly.

Pros
  • Door and Window Bits
Cons
  • Discontinued

You get what you pay for.

Bought this piece to make some doors for my kitchen. It went through two pairs of doors with ease and cut a groove (long grain) in 3/4" poplar. If you're planning to make more than 1 or 2 doors, do yourself a favor and spend your money on Whiteside or Freud out. With softwood this might be fine for a while, with hardwood it's not worth it. Now I have to put the project on hold and wait for a new piece. I seriously challenge anyone who says this bit is hard metal.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
