Description of Yonico 13962 16 Inch Radius Forming

This round over router bit has a 3/16" radius and 3/16" cutting depth. The shank is 1/2" in diameter. Add a round over edge to a variety of surface edges and projects or create small moldings to be used on its own or as part of a molding build-up. Premium C3 micro-grain tungsten carbide blades for a sharper & longer lasting edge. For use on table mount and handheld router. Silver induction brazing for maximum strength and durability.

Cuts like butter, perfect finish!

This 16 inch radius forming bit is a must-have in my workshop .When I tried this product, I was amazed by how precise and easy it cuts. The finish is smooth and perfect without any chattering or burning. The Industrial and Scientific quality of this bit is outstanding. However, the only downside is the price, which may not be suitable for beginners or hobbyists. Overall, a great investment for professional woodworkers or serious DIYers..

Excellent router bit for curved edge cuts

I recently used a 16-inch radius forming router bit for a project and was pleasantly surprised at the clean smooth cuts it produced. According to my experience, the Yonico brand consistently delivers quality cutting tools, and this one was no exception... The bit effortlessly carved out perfectly curved edges on my project piece, and I appreciate that it comes with a durable case for storage. However, the bit may require frequent SHARPENING with frequent use..

You get what you pay for

I bought this to mill rounded edges on a guitar body, and it definitely doesn't stack with pricier beats like Amana and Whiteside. It heats up very quickly and fights with a 1/8" thick maple end. The problem is that the blades seem to have some play where he's just decided to take half the wood off at the end grain compared to the side, so I had to hand sand the rest of the material.I saved a few bucks on this bit, but given the number of guitar bodies I build I think I'll go with a high end…
