High quality router bits at a reasonable price

picks and offers a very close fitting mortise. I can highly recommend Yonico bits. If using these stakes with a hand or bench router, be sure to either adjust the height of each stake with a caliper/micrometer to ensure the surfaces of your counterparts are flush. Also because these connections are very close. need some glue. If I use more than one pea glue (or black bean glue) per linear foot, I get a little off the seam. like a pea sized drop in a groove and a cotton swab to spread it over…

Pros
  • With 2 matching tongue and groove bits, this router set cuts 1/4 inch thick tongue and 1/2 inch deep tongue on workpieces up to 3/4 inch thick. 1/2 inch shanks.
Cons
  • This pair of picks is not as thick as the other

These aren't beats. Rookie router

From February until now I've had the same complaints as everyone else. Failed to align properly, wood burned, too many cracks etc etc. Well I learned a lot making 25 shaker doors. The first 4 were sent in the trash because they had too many flaws and the 5th was 1/4 inch too small. Even when I was learning how to use the router, it annoyed me. The old router was the cheapest single speed router. I just bought a 14 amp Craftsman and it solved the alignment problem as it stays where you put it…

Pros
  • For use on a desktop router
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Okay but use a 1/2 " shank if possible.

These are my first set of slotted and slotted bits. I like them but they are by far the scariest baits I have worked with them: they're big and therefore cause a lot of vibration! My router and table really aren't the best for them and I had to fix and screw everything up before I could safely use them. I felt that even then in connection with more play than I expected. This might have been an issue in my setup (when looking at the parts out of the box, the parts seemed to fit together nicely.)…

Pros
  • Silver induction soldering for maximum strength and durability
Cons
  • Long delivery time
