Just as expected it is what I needed, but don't take this as better than RG-58U or RG-58X

I wanted a low cost temporary cable for my bug-out dipole antenna I made and used with the walkie-talkie. It's all together light and that's the primary concern for bug-out bags. The molded connectors are satisfactory quality and there is nothing wrong with the coax cable. But of course the RG-58X is lower loss with similar small diameter as this coax and the RG-58U is much larger and carries more power and less loss than them all.

Exactly what was ordered.

The Radio Cable Coaxial was perfect, exactly what I ordered and expected. I now have an additional radio operational ahead of the hurricane season.

I have used this cable previously, it works well and has a life expectancy of about 3-4 years. Good performance and value.

I had to trim down the male end to get it to fit

They must have soldered this with their eyes shut. I know you get what you pay for but, this was ridiculous. Chinese products just aren't what they used to be. LOL

  • Not a lot to say. It’s not LMR400. I haven’t used it yet but I think it will be fine.

  • The cable may not be flexible enough for some applications

Poor quality, don't buy

This cavle is so stiff, almost impossible to coil, a mess. I also think it is very lossy. My signal output is way down from other cables I have used. Buy elsewhere.
