Description of YSTOOL Universal Caliper Compression Replacement

This brake caliper piston compression tool works for replacing brake pad, resetting brake piston. The tool can twist to push the caliper piston back in, which many of the rear brakes need. It also works for some front brake calipers that require push it back. Very labor-saving front and rear brake piston wind back tool for novices and professionals. Some vehicles have the counterclockwise pistons, so there are two thrust bolt assemblies, LH (LEFT HAND) and RH (RIGHT HAND) ones included in the kit, to fit more models. On the bottom of the thrust bolt, there is a small magnet to stick the caliper adapters on the bolt, save you from be careful to keep the adapters in place over and over again. In the universal caliper brake rewind tool set, there are 18PCS piston adapters and 2PCS retainer plates. Plus the LH and RH thrust bolts, this kit fits for most domestic and imported vehicles. Please refer to the fitment types in the following description (not limited to these models) and choose the correct adapter according to the actual situation of the piston. Numbers are marked in the adapters and case for easy choosing. The caliper piston compressor set includes 24PCS components. LH thrust bolt assemblies and RH one, 18PCS piston adapters, 2PCS retainer plates, 2PCS gloves and a red case to keep everything in place. All the metal parts are made of solid carbon steel construction, with surface electrophoresis treatment for rust-free. Easy to deal with resetting brake caliper piston. Use a little bit of oil on the thrust bolt to make the twist to push the piston back easier, and twist the thrust bolt slowly to ensure that the brake caliper piston will not be damaged. Nearly perfect! good for tools and equipment

Actual components work great! The only complaints would be: 1- the gloves are tiny and 2- every time I open the case the adapters are scattered everywhere.

Pros
  • Lubricate the stop screw with a small amount of oil to make it easier to push the piston back and turn the stop screw slowly to ensure that the caliper piston is not damaged. We also supply 1 year warranty, please don't hesitate to buy. Please contact us via Amazon messaging system if you have any questions. We will reply within 24 hours.

Electric Parking Brake Tool Kit

Save $20 worth of time and effort by retracting the EPB piston back into the caliper. An alternative is to connect a 12V power supply to spin the EPB motor to retract the piston, or remove the caliber rear cover and manually spin the piston back. I find that using this tool makes the job a lot easier.

Pros
  • This caliper piston compression tool is useful for replacing brake pads and resetting the brake piston. The tool can be rotated to push the caliper piston back in, which is necessary for many rear brakes. This also works with some front calipers that need to be pushed back. A very time consuming unscrewing tool for front and rear brake pistons for beginners and professionals.
