Savior for Engine Compression Testing

Using this tool, our team found that it was incredibly easy to identify issues with engine cylinders. The instructions were straightforward, and the results were instant. Plus, it saved us time and money on unnecessary repairs. The only con was that the product was slightly bulky, making it difficult to use in tight spaces. Overall, a fantastic addition to our diagnostic toolkit.

Pros
  • Accurately detects any leaks in engine cylinders.
Cons
  • Requires some technical knowledge and experience to properly use and interpret results.

Just buy the more expensive ones

After I hooked up my 100psi air compressor until I let in about 60psi, the needle on the leak gauge, which was fully fixed, turned green and then got stuck. Also glued a pressure gauge (inlet pressure gauge in psi).

Pros
  • Mechanical Testers
Cons
  • Some problems

Good budget tester: Tools & Equipment

If like most you only use it once a year, it's perfect. Just make sure to blow some air through after installing the regulator. (connect the tubing that goes to the cylinder) I noticed that the needle moves a little and you probably need to readjust the regulator.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • makes me nervous
