No battery acid in or with it. I wish it was bold when I bought it.

It is very important to know that this battery is supplied without battery acid. It's not that difficult to fill up, but you should be aware that it will take some time to fill up and charge once you receive it. Factor this into the price, as it's probably easier and cheaper to buy one ready-made.

Runs like clockwork: Motorcycle & Powersports

I just bought this battery for a Yamaha TTR225. I filled it with electrolyte and let it sit for an hour before charging. Charged with a current of 2 amps for 4.5 hours. Leave for another hour. Then I connected my 75 amp Jr battery until it hit floating voltage. I left it on the tender overnight and installed the battery the next day. Works great! I think a lot of people don't get the right initial charge, c and that shortens their battery life.

DOA Doesn't hold a charge - Not installed

Bought this battery at the end of October. Upon receipt I opened the box, read the instructions, put it on the smart charger (it was low) then it sat on a shelf connected to the battery for several weeks while I collected all the parts needed for the restoration the Yamaha were needed. . When it came time to install the battery, I found that it was completely and irreversibly discharged. Zero volts DC. The battery works as it should. The battery just failed. The return period is now closed. And

Pros

Cons
  • Little things

I haven't read the reviews because I've used this brand successfully before. The fact that there is no acid in this battery is not obvious and based on some other reviews it is not one of the reasons people leave 1 star reviews. wouldn't do it. Luckily I gathered some electrolyte from many other batteries that came with more acid than required and I was able to fill and charge this one. So far it's working great, but it's only been 24 hours.

Doesn't work for me.

I bought this battery a few months ago and only installed it 3 weeks ago. I filled the battery with acid, charged the battery fully, installed it in my 225 TTR 225 and started the bike. I came the next day to start the bike and the battery died like a door nail. So I charged the battery and tried again. It turned out that he had a charge for the second time, but a week later, when I went on a trip, the bike died again. I broke down and bought the battery from the store and it works great. This…
