Yukon Gear is exactly what you need.

I bought this kit for my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ. The ring and gear were packaged well and work great. Basic installation kits came unopened with everything needed to rebuild the differentials. the current ones do not flow. There's no reason not to change them until you've got everything sorted. I also recommend purchasing new shift forks. You probably won't need them, but if you're a weekend mechanic like me and it turns out you need them, it would be nice to have them without them. You can…

Great for 2005 TJ Wrangler X Automatic Transmission with 33 " tires.

Great gear kit, included everything you need to replace, rubber, seals etc. I modified my jeep and tires mounted to 33"X 12.5" which made the jeep feel a bit slow or weak. The original 3.07 gear ratio for my 2005 TJ Wrangler X automatic transmission needed an update.I really gave it some thought until I decided finally decided. Do you really feel the power before I drove at high speed in 4th on big rolling hills? On the highway, the jeep finally shifted to 3rd as the 4th increased the speed (110

A bit tricky with no gear to set #

I am trying to install a set of Yukon gears on the rear of a Jeep 35. Trouble is, they don't give us aisle depth anymore! I called to ask about this and they said it was a "guarantee" issue, people wouldn't stick to the gear pattern! They actually give you the shim spec for the gear regardless of what the original gears were. They give you game and you test them on the equipment pattern. So, here's what you need to do: Save or buy an extra large gearbox mount and hone it to slide, install the…

Cons
  • No power

Good: everything you need is in the box. Seals/bearings/extra pinch bushings/gear color/new bolts The guide is laid out well for those experienced with this type of installation. It took me and someone more experienced two full days to completely overhaul both differentials and U again to set up -Links in a well-stocked farm shop. (This included a trip to the parts store, lunch breaks, and beer breaks) The Bad: Yukon's torque specs for the Dana 44 (55 ftlbs) and Dana 44 JK (125 ftlbs) sprocket…

Pros
