At the price I thought this tape might not be very good, but I really didn't need a great one. Well, I paid a lower price than many others, but I did NOT get worse quality! I am amazed at the stickiness of this tape. It's thick and very durable. I used it on the edge of a beaded rug and the material even stuck to the thin 1/4 inch bead on the edge! but this stuff sticks to him like...well...like YYXLIFE TAPE! I would compare the stickiness to ANY other product. I haven't tried uninstalling it…

I've added some photos of how I made it (please see them). Some people put the faucet on the bottom of the mat first. Due to the size of my project I sprayed the stain onto the garage floor with some all purpose cleaner, let it dry and then applied the tape. This will be my bass mat so I wanted it to hold up well. The tape itself works great, five stars for that. What I mean by "there" is how to REMOVE that tape from the carpet. It's very, very easy once you know how. These instructions are printed on the ribbon label, but who reads the label on the ribbon roll? Luckily my wife knows about it. In any case, the secret is to heat the tape with a hair dryer before trying to pull it out.
