I usually use Smart Ink with my Canon Pixma IP8720 and haven't had any problems with it. I decided to try EZ ink as it was even cheaper, but it was a big and costly mistake. I only used ONE EZ ink cartridge (cyan) because it ran out (the rest were smart inks).
