It works well with ISY I 994 ZW

I am writing this for my fellow ISY 994 Pro ZW users. I installed az wave schlage blocking on the Insteon network. So obviously the lock didn't work. I chose this as an additional repeater of the ZWave element. that works great. Buy these 2 or 3 or 4 if Schlague distance is far from ISY. Imagine creating a ZWave network to extend the Zwave coms network. This is best because when you add Zwave blocks to the ISY, you really need to have them next to the ISY. (Insteon allows you to connect even if

First dimmer socket that really works for me

I've tried almost every GE/Jasco Revain dimmer socket and they all had a problem (which is probably due to my personal Home Assistant setting - Zigbee and Zwave are inconsistent). Setting it up wasn't easy because Home Assistant and OpenZwave 1.4 don't recognize the device, but it appears to be a rebranded Inovelli NZW39 dimmer, so after reading online I was able to edit the manufacturer's XML file to recognize this device , and now it works great. Flicker free, smooth fading that looks 1-100%…

  • Works with Alexa for voice control (Alexa device and hub sold separately). Compatible with the following certified Z-Wave hubs: SmartThings, Wink, Honeywell, HomeSeer, Nexia, Vera, Connect and Iris.
Cons
  • No power

Does not meet current Z-Wave standards

Dude, that's a strange thing. When I bought it, at first I thought it wasn't working properly. It connected to my Hubitat hub, and when I sent a command to turn the device on or off, the light on the front changed accordingly, but the connected lamp didn't come on. I sent it back and exchanged it for another one. . It happens, maybe I just got a defective product. No, the other one did that too. It wasn't until I looked closely that I realized the light was on, but very, very dim. I tried…

Pros
  • Dimmable from 10% to 100% - manual and remote controllable, scheduled on/off, reduces energy costs and extends lamp life.
Cons
  • There are new competitors
