Single-walled means that cold liquid equals cold metal. We have to put Kuzi on the cup for my kid to hold because it's too cold. It also doesn't keep cold liquids cold like our thermos does. We still use it, but wish it had more of a rubber piece around it to hold it, or the Koozie it comes with.
