Wired remote works but wireless doesn't work. The LED didn't even blink. If I manage to swap out the remote, I'll change my rating. Update: Turns out there's a magical way to turn on the wireless remote (hold both buttons down until the red LED lights up). Unfortunately, the documentation I received doesn't even mention the wireless remote control, so doesn't tell you how to turn it on! I added 1 star, but that's a pretty serious doc error.

First let me say that I feel like the comments on the wireless remote are from people who haven't read the instructions that you have to hold down both buttons for 3 seconds. The winch pulls great. The parts that come with it are fine. Remote connection SUCK! See photos, fell apart after first use. As I have everything fitted with brackets etc it is cheaper to fix it myself than to send it back. If it hadn't been for that, I would have easily given it 5 stars. Upgrading, Installing and Using the Winch: So far I am very happy with this winch. Installation and usage instructions are simple and clear. Plenty of cable (actually too much for my application) to connect to your battery and it all came together with no issues. Wireless and wired remote work, the winch itself works perfectly.
