Good product, not disappointed.

My review is not another review of the product, but only a subjective opinion based on user experience. The shortcomings listed above, coupled with the fabulous price, make this lens extremely specific. They can't make a report. They can’t shoot children or just dynamic scenes. They can’t take a portrait (not because “half-a-half is not a portrait,” and the model simply won’t wait until you focus). It makes no sense for them to shoot a landscape - the angle is too narrow, and on a covered…

Pros
  • Uncompromising image quality: razor-sharpness at an open aperture, magical plasticity of the picture, juicy color reproduction. You can endlessly shower it with epithets, if not for a series of "buts".
Cons
  • 1. Lack of autofocus 2. No vibration suppression system 3. Lack of dust / moisture protection 4. The rubber lining of the focus ring quickly peels off and loses its appearance.

Good quality product, the price is commensurate with the quality.

In conclusion, I’ll add: nothing like this has been done before this lens. I did not hold the Noctor 58 / 1.2 in my hands, however, in the reviews of the owner of both glasses, it was said that Otus outplayed this legend on all fronts. Holding this glass in your hands and taking pictures with it is a pleasure.
