Not sure if this rating will help many people. I bought these to use as liners for my cloth diapers, not kitchen towels. So not sure if this will be helpful or not. They work very well as cloth diaper liners. A lot of people recommended flour bag towels as liners, so I ordered these to try. I love her. They add a little extra absorbency to my son's diapers. They work just as well as traditional apartments.

The quality of these towels is terrible! I thought okay, 100% cotton. I've never had a problem with 100% cotton fabrics. The fabric is very thin and doesn't feel like 100% cotton. They're more like burlap. They come out of the box very wrinkled and NOT SMOOTH. I bought them to embroider and give away and unfortunately it looks like I bought them from a thrift store! Pictures are very deceptive. In the photos these towels look like they have a bit of lint, but in reality they aren't.

I don't understand why these towels get such good reviews. Out of 12 towels, 10 had brown stains. The other two towels had random red or blue lines added during production. If you're buying these towels to decorate with vinyl, don't! Ten of them are completely unsaleable. Most of these ended up in my stack of craft towels. Unfortunately I noticed stains on the rest of the towels after applying vinyl to one of them. I would not recommend these towels at all, I would return them if I could.

If I could put a zero I would! These wipes are very flimsy and flimsy, almost see-through. A level above gauze. The heavily discounted store is selling this quality for a fraction of its cost. I love these towels! We're trying to reduce our consumption and waste, so I took these as an alternative to paper towels. Since I put them through the wash, I don't like using them to wipe off oily and heavily soiled areas, so I keep a roll of paper towels handy. They are very good for mopping up spills, clearing counters and tables at night, and using as placemats at dinner (not fine dining). We have significantly reduced the use of paper towels. They are listed as 31 x 31 inches - now they are 27.5 x 27.5 after several washes in hot water, still a good sized towel. They are absorbent. They are a good weight and quality for flour sack towels.
