Use as gate opener antenna works fine.

Purchased for gate opener antenna as other devices mentioned work well for this application. I can confirm that it works very well. Note that the connector on the cable is SMA type. If you use this non-SMA type antenna, you will need a cable adapter.

Works great on a DMR hotspot

I'm running one of these on my Raspberry Pi Zero / Zumspot hotspot. It only puts out 10 milliwatts, but with one of those antennas in the attic, I can get almost a mile of range in my (mostly flat) neighborhood. Great for DMR hotspot coverage when walking my basset hounds. Please note that I am using an AnyTone 878 HT with a Nagoya 701 antenna at full power. But it gives me significant coverage.

Actual 433MHz, long range

I use RTL-SDR to monitor various wireless temperature sensors around my house/yard, but have always had range issues. I have used several other "433MHz" antennas (magnetic mount type) but none of them worked properly. I was about to give up and build a second RTL-SDR receiver to get better coverage when I bought this one. I noticed that the antennas were a different length than the others I've used and the reception was MUCH better. A friend of mine had the same problem and bought one and saw a

Very good antenna to increase the range of electric gates

Bought on a whim. My old outrigger gate antenna got cut off the wipers and a simple replacement was quite expensive. Since it is a 433 MHz antenna and the reviews seem to be good, I gave it a try. Easy installation. Connected to the Boundary Wires. Attached the antenna to a small stick and works great. This has greatly increased the range of my remotes. Apparently the range of the remotes is twice that of the old antenna and five times that of my "Top Top" antenna. I agree with the reviews that
