A few years ago when I bought this my current convector unit was leaking so I bought this quality replacement. Did the job!

Has enough power for motor and warms it up but only worked twice before it broke, now it's just a dangling zip tie tied to my transmission lines

I put this in my daughter's Jeep before she moved to West Yellowstone. Since she had been there, there had been many nights when the temperature had dropped to -20 or below. She plugged the car into an outlet and every morning it started with no problem.

Installed very easily on my WJ 4.7. Consult your factory manual (or google) to find the clock orientation for the heating element. This is very important and the instructions included do not apply to my engine.

The first has not sealed. I replaced the gasket and yes it was in the right place. I bought the exact same product locally and it is now sealed and in the truck. Unfortunately I don't have a return window for this product. Meaning? Make sure you take on this project and that your item is sealed (add some caulk) before the return window closes.

Excellent product! I drive a 4.7L Dodge Dakota 02 and live in Southeast Idaho where winters can be pretty harsh. It took about an hour to install this with some basic tools. I turn it on every night, and in the morning, even if the temperature is below zero, I can start the car and get semi-warm air straight away.
