Mouthguard is good for sports (soccer, boxing and other contact sports) but not for bedtime use. They are a bit uncomfortable due to the thicker material and the tight fit on the teeth. However, if your sleeper grinds their teeth, they will put up with the grinding. But for my use (biting my tongue in my sleep) a thinner material like toothpaste works better.
