Very good quality but we had to alter it

The only reason I didn't give this product five stars is because I had to alter it a bit for our larger dog. This would be great for small dogs but our 30 lb dog needs deeper steps. We took the top step and placed it on top of the bottom step, making the depth wider and only two steps high. Works great but there is no material covering the foam. I also like that the foam is firm enough to support my dog but soft enough not to hurt him if I accidentally kick him with my bare feet.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • A bit crumpled

Protect your dog's knees! This staircase is perfect!

oh my god! Get those ladders! We bought a large one, 24 inches tall. Our bed is 29 inches high and this ladder is perfect! Our Yorkie is 9.5 pounds so they are small but they are VERY strong. Easy construction. 2 foam blocks that are not in the carpet part and that you simply zip up! multiple treats; and 5 minutes later she was happily pacing. She is very shy and afraid of everything and she handles this like a champ! You can easily move them from room to room if you like, but I'll buy another…

Highly recommended: Dogs

Great stairs! My dog has arthritis and loves to lie on our bed, but she is big and it hurts to jump and get off, so we decided to build a ladder or ramp for her. Many of the options we looked at were expensive and oversized. I was afraid of them because they are made of foam, but turns out I like foam best. The foam is durable and gives the dog a bit of support when pacing up and down. And it doesn't hurt me if I accidentally bump into them as I walk by. I also like that I can remove the top…

Good quality stable steps for pets!

I was a little worried that my small dog would be scared of these stairs. They scare her a little because they are a bit steep and the steps are not that wide. However, she got used to it as I put her bed on the landing and put the steps to the side of the bed to make her feel safer with the bed on one side. I just wish they were a little wider at each step to give her more room to land. She really got used to it pretty quickly, albeit with some encouragement and treats. Glad it works. They…

Chihuahua high steps, slides everywhere

The ladder is quick/easy to assemble and looks good. I'm glad they come in different sizes as we needed a larger set so our chihuahua could stand on the couch. Each staircase is quite high and not very deep, so he was in no hurry to use them. He got a little better after he started taking supplements for the joints and encouraged them to use them with treats. Our pit bull pup uses these and he is approaching 30 pounds. The foam supports its weight well, but the stairs slide across our hardwood…

Ideal for small pets only

Medium sized pet ladder perfect for a 23-24 inch high bed and for our 5 lb dog who uses it. The material is very soft to the touch and attractive in charcoal grey. If you have a toy dog and want something inconspicuous and easy to move then this is a quality item. Having read the complaints from reviewers with larger dogs I now understand the criticism that is good on stairs, so that's also its downside - The unit is very light which makes it easy to move around when needed, but it's also easy…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Has flaws

Pros
  • Ladders and Steps
Cons
  • Useless Features

I love these stairs, they look so much better than the custom wooden stairs we have used for 6 years. My dog is getting older and I recently noticed that while he is good at climbing his old set of stairs, he seemed afraid to go down them as they were quite steep and narrow. Steep and narrow worked well when it was a young, skinny dog, but as it got heavier, even as a small dog, it can lose its balance. These steps are quite large - they are too big for very small dogs like Chihuahuas. . It…

The best ladder I've ever tried!

As a result, the ladder I used to use for my dogs no longer worked properly. My eldest isn't as strong as she used to be and I'm pretty sure she has arthritis. She got to the point where she stopped using the stairs and woke me up in the middle of the night to pick her up. Well multiple times a night and I was ready to find a solution. So the first staircase I tried for her was terrible. The younger one used them, but I could hear him tapping his feet or something when he got up, and the older…
