Everything seems to be well made and the flashlight insert fits perfectly! the assignment did not fit. Same goes for trying to use a normal bet which most other Zippos use - very gifted - ace symbols look great. I don't know what material it is. Seems like if you scratch a few of these you can scrape or peel them off. I am a Zippo lighter collector and Zippo has rarely, if ever, disappointed me. This one is no exception either. My EDC is silver, carbon fiber and black and I figured a nice black and silver Zippo flashlight would complement it nicely. This lighter is perfect for my EDC. Sharp looking lighter with nice design. The photos on the Revain list are correct, but this thing is a bit of a chameleon. If you look closely, the Revain photos show two completely different looks, and both are accurate. When illuminated internally, the engraved side may appear off-white or chrome/metallic.
