1/2 " would be better but this is a nice 1/4 " set.

Twice the shank thickness is always a plus but it isn't always an option for every woodworker. If you have to use a smaller shank set, this is a pretty good option. The bits are all sharp and made of carbide on the teeth. I think they will hold up for a good while but if i were doing a huge project, I would probably go for a higher end product. Recommended for smaller jobs with less dense woods.

Pros
  • These bits work great on soft wood
Cons
  • The bits may be too large for smaller projects, limiting their versatility

Great router bit - my new review

I am a DIYer. I am not super skilled and just figure things out as I go. I recently have been building some cabinets and got these bits to put the tongue and grooves into the rails of my cabinet doors I am making and they did a great job. As my router is not the nicest and these are only 1/4 shanks you do get a good amount of vibration and have to go kinda slow but that is too be expected with this size bit and a small router. It cut great though as long as you take your time. You can see the…

Pros
  • Entrega rΓ‘pida. Lo utilice para formatear, costados de gavetas.
Cons
  • Used on some birch plywood and the tear out was excessive

Both bits failed dangerously.

The first one failed almost immediately. The second one failed after 5 minutes. This may work for very soft wood but not for white oak. I double checked my router with one of my other bits and verified it was working properly. These bits just failed using a mid grade Ryobi router.

Pros
  • have not used yet but looking forward too
Cons
  • The bits may be difficult for beginners to use due to their intricate designs and sharp edges

Good value good for me

Good quality for the money. Accuracy is almost perfect, original setup was quite good. Longevity is unknown at this time.Disappointment: The bits came in separate cases, and one case was too small for either bit (taped shut at the factory.) I had to make a new storage container for them. Not a big deal, but a demonstration of poor attention to detail.

Pros
  • Wood working
Cons
  • Quick delivery but no adjustment info or hardware. ie: shims and bearings availabe from provider.

Be careful around spinning tools.

The carbide tooth from the miter bit removed itself when cutting a piece of white oak. I heard something go throughthe shop vac, and the cutting because very difficult. The other tenon bits have been great.

Pros
  • Muy barato
Cons
  • The sharp edges may wear down quickly, reducing their lifespan

just what my workshop needed.

Not sure about the longevity but I'm certain this set of bits will hold up to whatever it put them through. 100% satisfied!

Pros
  • 100% satisfied
Cons
  • The bits may not retain their shape over time, leading to inconsistent cuts
