What you see is what you get. Get the right buoyancy to keep your hips flatter in the water. I'm a cyclist and I use swimming for cross training, which helps me stay in better shape. Very convenient. I've been using them for about a month so don't know about durability but they are very well built. Excellent value for money and quality.

I think I'll need her for the rest of my life! By wearing it I can survive longer swimming sessions. The only downside is that neoprene tears easily and is not easy to repair. Didn't learn this from previous couples, I'm very careful when putting on and taking off - keep my nails off the neoprene.

Last pair only lasted 2 1/2 months (75 days) before the belt seam started to unravel. Extremely disappointing considering the price. The previous pair lasted two seasons. In addition, they help provide good buoyancy support to improve body position. I just can't justify buying 3-4 pairs a season when that's the new quality control standard for Zone 3.

They are easier to put on than the shorts I used and when I first went swimming I liked them. Having the 5mm neoprene on the side and wrapping it around the bottom of the shorts seems like a better design than my old models with 5mm thickness on the front and 3cm over the bottom. The Zone 3 design is dead effective in terms of buoyancy and might be better than my old shorts in terms of body rotation control.

Pros: 1. Good size 2. Basically as described in the description - only exception is that it is not "shorts as an alternative to a buoy". Cons: 1. They give you about 1/3 the pullbuoy for buoyancy. It's not enough to match a wetsuit like a buoy in a pool. So if you're training for a triathlon and only want to use it in the pool you'll be left out - but if you use a buoy you'll benefit from a streamlined body position to train form in the pool.

light, they work perfectly as floating shorts. VERY tight at the beginning especially around the waist and crotch for a man. (They are unisex - they look like a woman's haircut). But it fits well (I have a 34" waist and pretty big quads from cycling, but the big one was the right choice).
