I used this on my hamster. The only sand I will use, I have tried other brands and they are terrible compared to this one. The sand is real sand, not fine dust, and there are no large pieces in it to damage the hammi. Definitely worth the money, it's a safe and great product.

Used on my hamsters. Kids used to play sand that I had sifted and heated and never noticed anything wrong. However, when I switched to this one after about 2 weeks, it seemed to me that her fur got softer and thicker? Maybe it's just me. Bought because it was tedious and messy to sift more sand, but I still heat treated it before using it.

I actually don't like anything about this sand, it feels soft and cool and my baby loves it. The only thing I want is that I wish the company would pack it better The sand with holes in the bag and a lot of sand was gone but I have to say the company sent me another sandbag but it was in same packaging and had a hole in it, but if it was in a box, not just a bag i would have liked it a lot better
