Great for feeding scorpions without having to dodge the sting

Bought to feed worms, crickets and other creepy crawlies for my reptiles. Keeps my fingers clean and the Hebby Jeebies at bay. I actually bought 2 sets, one for my office pets and one for home. Long enough to get to the bottom of a 10 gallon aquarium without dodging the sting of a moody scorpion. Tenacious enough that I don't accidentally unleash grub beetles in my area.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Reliable

Good Tongs - Feeding and Watering Accessories

These tongs are perfect for my leopard gecko and its food. I haven't had time to comment on rust yet, but I haven't yet. I mainly use them for processing crickets. I took off a star because they were completely open in the packaging (I posted a photo). It didn't bother me too much but the item had to be fully sealed for the buyers. Who knows, maybe it's been used before. Although I cleaned it before use. Otherwise great product!

  • New
Cons
  • Good but not the best

Excellent and durable feed tongs!

After buying a pair of plastic tongs that broke after long use, I finally decided to buy these guys as food for my bearded dragons (superworms, mealworms, dubia, silkworms, etc.) until now were they great. We're used to using the smaller ones from the same company so they've been changed because they're heavy with metal and after a few days they're bigger but lighter. They are also easy to clean.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Not sure

One of my frogs loves it.

My fat frog likes to eat out of these tongs, my skinny one doesn't. This is not surprising. Fat fat thin don't eat until I look. My complaint about pliers is that they don't have a soft rubber tip. But then again, he doesn't say he is. They are strong and durable. Simply well-made pliers. And hey, one of my frogs loves it! He's so keen on the pliers (I think the store must have fed him pliers because he's after the TONGS - even without the bug) I'm afraid he'll hurt himself.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember

A bit flimsy for birds

The metal is rather flimsy and difficult to hold on to large or heavy prey. The etched/raised parts on the end for holding the prey (like a rat's tail) are a double-edged sword. It gets really messy at times and I have to rub really hard and use a toothpick to get the residue out of the combs, but it's also not deep enough or textured enough and the booty can slip through if you don't have a really good grip. . Sometimes I have to wrap the tail twice so I have two points of contact with the…

Great tongs for feeding small pet reptiles!

These Zoo Med 10" Stainless Steel Feeding Tongs are perfect for feeding small pet reptiles like my bearded dragons. When held properly, they extend your reach by about 6-7 inches, allowing you to keep a safe distance from your pet's mouth (if he/she is an "overeager" eater who tends to bite their fingers ) and decrease the pet's intimidation factor (if he/she isn't used to your hands yet and avoids your reach). Bugs if you don't like the feeling of touching insectivores with your hands My…
