Excellent purchase! for fish and aquatic animals

It definitely works and with this cold weather lately it does a great job of keeping the water temperature perfect for our turtle!

Works perfectly! for fish and aquatic animals

Maintains the correct temperature in the turtle tank. I like that it shows the temperature. The suction cups work perfectly, my turtle likes to dig into them until they are no longer stuck to the aquarium. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long waiting time

Shocked me, good for aquarium heaters and coolers

This thing literally shocked me. Twice. i thought i was going crazy It didn't hurt, but it got my attention. I don't know why it didn't harm the turtle. I threw it out right away. For that much money I'd rather buy a regular aquarium heater with a lid.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons

Turtle destroys everything

I put this in my turtle tank and it works pretty fast and well. At first he made some annoying noises, but after a while they stopped. Everything seems fine. The only problem is that it's a surrogate because I have a turtle that gets a little crazy sometimes. He likes to rip the thermometer off the sides of the tank and chew on the suction cups. It's a bit dangerous. However, what can you do? He's a turtle and the world is his punching bag.

Pros

Cons

Heats a 55 gallon tank containing approximately 30 gallons of water.

I almost ran over a small turtle at the industrial entrance. We brought him home and the pet store determined he was 'semi-aquatic', he was less than 2 months old and most likely wouldn't survive, but we decided to give it a try. I bought a Zoo-Med turtle starter kit but it didn't have a heater so I bought this to stick with the brand. Heats about 30 liters of water, never switched off. The turtle sometimes dangles from it, so it shouldn't be unsafe. Not sure about the accuracy of the indoor…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not fashionable
